At least one of the creators of Netscape also worked on the original Mosaio WWW browser. Netscape supports new features that Mosaic does not, such as the <BLINK> command to cause text to flash, < CENTER> to center justify text, the ability to specify fonts in an HTML doc- ument, and built-in JPEG decompression. However, Netscape's regular fonts are small and can be difficult to read, compared to Mosaic's fonts. There's an option to increase the size of the fonts, but then the big fonts (defined by <H1> in an HTML document for example) become blocky looking.
